Noble act of Kindness Shown by the Four BS Criminology Students

16 Feb 2024

On Monday, February 12, 2024, four 3rd-year BS Criminology students - Leah Bintinganan, KC Gumarao, June Mark Fajagutana, and Bryan Paul Faeldonia - were taking a break after their preliminary examinations. While they were eating, they saw an accident happen. Instead of just standing there and recording the incident to post it on social media, the four students helped the victim without hesitation. Bryan secured the area by acting as a traffic enforcer to make sure that there wouldn't be any commotion on the road. Leah and KC helped in making sure that the victim would be untouched before receiving first aid. June Mark made sure that the victim did not panic while waiting for medical assistance.

Fortunately, help arrived on time, and the victim was safely taken to the hospital to receive proper healthcare. The noble act of kindness shown by the four BS Criminology students was recognized by the school through the College President, Ma. Andrea Patricia M. Millado, MBA, MA. Ramon Magsaysay Memorial Colleges-Marbel Inc. expressed gratitude to the four students for being alert and extending what they had learned even outside of school. The college president also reminded them to always do good and extend help to others whenever needed, as one act of kindness would result in a chain of kindness that would create a ripple effect on everyone. This recent act of kindness is a manifestation that RMMC-MI is not only producing the best in the academe but also good people who will soon be serving the world with kindness. Kindness never gets old and never gets extinct. As long as there is a seed of kindness planted, it will grow hundreds of stems and will branch out to make the world a better place.
